Sutter Medical Foundation’s Low-Cost Prostate Cancer Screening
Wednesday, Sept. 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (closed from 12-1pm for lunch). Sutter Urologists Dr. Robert Wright, Jr. and Dr. Jan Babiszewski, will provide the screenings at 460 Plumas Blvd., Yuba City. The physician exam is free and the service costs $15.00, which includes the lab fee for a Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) blood test. Cash and check will be accepted at the time of the screening. Medical insurance billing is not available. Appointments are encouraged and can be scheduled by calling (530) 749-3310 although walk-ins are welcome as well.
Remembrance by Candlelight Memorial Event
This is a ritual of healing which allows families to honor the memories of their loved ones and celebrate the joys of their lives. Remembrance by Candlelight remembers those who have passed away during the past year while receiving Sutter North Hospice care.
When: 3:30pm to 5:30 pm October 17, 2010
Where: Glad Tidings Activity Center.

and Beyond child birth classes are for you!
Baby Boot Camp
Baby Boot Camp is now offering FREE classes in Yuba and Sutter Counties! With the help from Sutter County Children and Families Commission and First Five Yuba, Baby Boot Camp Yuba and Sutter Counties will be offering FREE Baby Boot Camp classes beginning August 1st.
These special scholarships are designed for parents and caregivers who just can't seem to squeeze their budget any tighter but still really need to get in a great workout! You must be a resident of Yuba or Sutter County and have a child age five or younger.
